AeroModeller May 2015, No 936
FREE PLAN Iluyshin-18, four engine airliner.
The new issue of May AeroModeller is out now, packed with articles of interest to creative flying and building modellers. The Free Plan is something a little different from Robert Pajas, a 16″ wingspan profile scale model of the Il-18 airliner, for indoor FF (or possibly ultra-light RC), powered by small electric motors as used on tail rotors of small RC helicopters. The PDFs of the marking are included below for those wanting to print their own covering.
Additionally there is a review of the delightful new small diesel engine the LOLA 020 (0.3cc) from PAL Model Products, an appreciation of Ken Bedford the man behind ETA engines, a report from the 40th Crawley Indoor event, and plenty more on flying indoors and out.
Finally the April issue of AeroModeller contained a Sherry cartoon on Building It Yourself – we’ve had a request to make this available for printing on T Shirts, Mugs etc. so feel free to use the image constructively in anyway you like.
